BROOKE MARRONE FITNESS ANNOUNCES 2010 "PARK WORKOUTS!" PROGRAM IN CENTRAL PARK
Second Year of One-Hour Outdoor Guided Cardio, Pilates and Total Body Conditioning Sessions Begins June 1 – Complimentary Intro Class Offered May 25
NEW YORK, NY (May 2010) - Personal trainer and Pilates instructor Brooke Marrone announces the second season of her popular outdoor workouts in Central Park, with new group classes beginning June 1 at 7pm. This year, Brooke will be accompanied by Ann Mehl, personal life coach and accomplished Marathon runner. Both are skilled at motivating and encouraging training and development and will lead the sessions which are split into 30 minutes of coached running and 30 minutes of Pilates and body conditioning work. With a complimentary session offered on May 25 for interested participants, the four-session program officially begins on Tuesday June 1 and continues on June 8, June 15 and June 22. Recognizing the different fitness levels of participants, Brooke will divide participants into groups based on ability or experience level to ensure a personalized approach. Each successive class will advance techniques learned at the previous session. Classes meet at the Tavern at the Green parking lot, at Central Park West and 67th Street. The four-class series is $100. In the event of rain, a make-up class will be scheduled. Registration is limited.
Participants will need to bring their own water, towel and mat. All other equipment is supplied. Brooke Marrone is certified in both personal training and Pilates and has trained clients of all ages, helping them recover from injuries, build strength, reshape their bodies and develop healthy lifestyles. Brooke's training philosophy is straightforward: stick to the basics while always incorporating something new and fun into each session. Marrone loves to meld her personal training and Pilates knowledge to make each workout safe, creative and challenging. She strongly believes that exercise is an important medium for realizing one’s potential for strength, flexibility, alignment and body/mind awareness.

Based in Manhattan, Brooke Marrone conducts all training sessions at a client’s gym or home, or can arrange an outdoor workout as well. Each spring and summer, Brooke’s group “Park Workouts” take place in Central Park, mixing cardio, weights, Pilates, body conditioning and fun with a dose of the beautiful outdoors.
