La Fortuna, COSTA RICA, April 2010 – Recently named "Best International Spa" in the Luxist Reader's Choice awards, and a finalist in the prestigious Condé Nast Johansens Luxury Travel Guide awards, Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort announces its 2010 "YIN" and "YANG" spa packages. The Luxist Awards honor the pinnacle of fine living in a variety of luxury categories as voted on by editors and readers of Luxist, the luxury Web site owned by AOL. The resort was a finalist in two Condé Nast Johansens categories, "Most Excellent Resort” and "Most Excellent Spa in Mexico and Central America," and was selected from a portfolio of more than three hundred hotels worldwide by readers of the Guide, hotel guests, and the Condé Nast Johansens inspection team.

Available through November 15, 2010, Tabacón's three-night spa packages are designed to promote wellness and relaxation through indigenous treatments, immersion in the Tabacón thermal springs, and Tandoor and Ayurveda cuisine. The three-night/four-day packages are priced at US $1487 (Yin) and US $1787 (YANG), based on double occupancy inclusive of taxes, and feature multiple spa treatments per person, accommodations, entrance to the hot springs, one Tandoor lunch, and one or two Ayurveda dinners depending on the package. Includes: 3 nights in a Superior Premium room for two people; tropical welcome cocktail (non-alcoholic); two 40-minute volcanic mud wraps, two mud masks, Temazcal for two people, the native Indian sweat lodge; one Tandoor dinner at Ave del Paraiso for two and one Ayurveda dinner for two at Los Tucanes restaurant; daily entrance to the thermal mineral springs.

Includes: 3 nights in a Superior Premium room for two people; tropical welcome cocktail (non-alcoholic); fruit basket in-room; two thirty-minute back massages, two deep facials, two chocolate warmth wraps; Temazcal at Ave del Paraiso for two, the native Indian sweat lodge; one Tandoor lunch for lunch at Ave del Paraiso and two Ayurveda dinners for two at Los Tucanes; daily entrance to the thermal mineral springs.
